Given the growing squads and association's that naturally form, is there a possibility that we might have squad highlights based upon a common vox channel?

Isn't this automatically done in the Mission generator for all participants?  

Given that line of thought; It should carry over quiet well in AH2, with the mission oriented aspect of the TOD at least.

Really an excelent idea. But I would let squad highlight as it already is and then add another highlight (with an independent colour) for vox participants that are not into your squad. In our case, we usually do missions with one or two other squads.
