On behalf of those of us in the UK who believe that the US is doing the right thing, I'd like to apologise for the cluelessness of some of our politicians.
I'll make two observations though:
Firstly, there's nothing stopping UK planes flying the UN-approved no-fly zones, thus releasing American planes to other tasks. And we can take on logistics work for the US too.
Secondly, the British public does not like a divided party, and many Labour MPs have slim majorities. Many will lose their seats at the next election. Serves them right.
