I'm having a problem with my film recorder.  

Last night, I was in a panzer and looked over and saw another panzer running a parallel path to me.  Well, I did a double take and saw there was no icon, either friendly or enemy.

WTF???, so I turn on the film.  He's not shooting, so he must be friendly.  Then he starts shooting me and I get smoked.  50mm was his CPID and definitely not a friendly.

So I got to look at the film to see if the icon shows up there and the entire film consists of me sitting in the tower.

WTF???

So I look at other older films and they are the same thing.  30 minutes of just sitting in the tower.

Is this a recorder issue in AH or a playback issue?  Anyone else see this?

Enemy GVs don't show icons if you are in another GV - that's how you know they are enemy.    As for the film recorder - were you gunning for someone else?  Any films you make while gunning will show you in the tower.....

AH!, the gv icon would give it away!!!  I shoudda though of that  For sure I figgered I had a cheater .  Although I refrained from calling him that

As far as the film, I wasn't gunning for anyone, however I was driving the tank from the hull gun position for a most of the run until I started getting shot.  Then I jumped to the main gun and got kilt....

Posible bug??

Not sure then..... As far as I know, films should work OK just as well from vehicles as aircraft.  I have only experienced the "in the tower" problem when I have been gunning..... (or in CMEye!   )
