It seems like most of the europes population is opposing the war on Iraq... regardless what the goverments says.
You can see this very well in UK, where goverment has taken over the decision whether to go in war or not.

The EU will be a super-power one day, of that I'm sure. But not any time soon - there are alot of old wounds that are still in the process of healing. Maybe it would take a civil war to bring a union together, but maybe not. Either way, the scale of the endeavour is unparalleled in human history. The US took a long time to integrate, even though the constituent states had virtually no history. The European nations have milennia of hatreds and prejudices to smooth over - and that will take a whole heap of time.

In the process of healing? True there are alot of old wounds in various states of healing, but in several cases these wounds are not in the process of healing at all. And in other cases, there are new wounds opening up. Europe will never be united, and that is a good thing because I sure as **** dont want to be in a union, much less a nation, with the surrender monkeys et al.
