the only problem i can foresee is the speed of ships in AH at the moment.

trying to torpedo the fleet will be incredibly difficult with any of the early subs as they couldnt go very fast under water.On the surface they were quick but obviously in AH on the surface will mean certain death. Even 50 calibers will probably kill us.

So how will we be able to stalk a fleet if they are so fast ?

will we get abnormally fast subs too?

Mark XXI could do 21 knots under water, my impression is the fleets are always doing at least 30

Rip ,if you haven't read "One of our submarines", I strongly advice you to do it. Impressive reading, biography of Captain Edward Young, RNVR. It also narrates with a lot of detail the story of HMS Storm, one of the most successfull submarines in the Royal Navy during WWII.
