Screwed up my IE settings

Help.

Somehow, and I swear, I have no idea how this happened, I must have screwed up some of my IE settings. For some reason I have to reenter the password every time I come back to the forum. If I close the browser, and open a new one, I have to log in again. Is this some lame cookie setting I messed up or is it something else? Problem is, on another BB, I cant even log in. I click log in, type username and password, and then it says "thanks for logging in" but when I'm redirected back to the page, Im still not logged in. How/why did that happen?

I'm running winXP prof edition, and IE 6.1 (service pack 1)...

definitely sounds like a cookie issue.

Did you change your security settings?

You could also try dumping all the cookies and going with a clean slate.

yeah might try setting cookie security to laxest possible, then tighten up from there, assuming you can get in to begin with
