I don't much like Nugent. I think he's genuinely full of himself... that said... I think he's spot on when it comes to wildlife management.

Nugent's entire life seems to be focused around hunting, going out in the woods, and planting trees.

Being a Forest Ranger might not be a bad life.  In a way, that's what he's doing.  


He plays a mean guitar also.

I think he raced cars for a while.  It's interesting that wildlife conservation is his occupation of choice, with so many other talents to work from.

He probably figures, (and this is an opinion), that now he's doing something that serves the community in a positive way.  And he has the guts and money to actually do something about it, even if done for selfish reasons of happiness.

The fact he has not used drugs is even more amazing, considering the ways of the music world.  When I first heard this, I had a hard time believing it.


Ted Nugent is a patriotic American, as far as I can tell from reading the article. Dunno if I'd vote for him for President, or anything like that, but he does know what he's talking about when it comes to hunting.
