ripsnort... hooli was here with his BMW so.....

We might as well fix it.   once we get the top off and the back doors welded up we can start on the wussy m3 drivetrain.  After riding in a mans car hooli decided that he would like to have the big block chevy I have lying around stuffed into the little bimmer gerbil box.   no longer will he have to be humiliated by hondas and mazdas terrorizing him on the autoba... er freeway.  I think the S10 pickup bed in place of the trunk will give it more of a"sport truck" look too.

Lazs, thanks for showing me your cars today bud. I had a great visit with you and Hooligan and even learned some insider secrets of AH- those rubber bands around the joystick adds more immersion to the game than Mitsu's sound pack ever did.

I was amazed at the cleanliness of the motors in your cars- seriously, if my second wife had kept the dishes that clean and not screwed all my friends we may have never divorced- you can literally eat off those motors. Then when you turned the key in the Healy to fire up the 327 while apologizing in advance it hadn't been started lately, and it started the second tooth on the flywheel, I was impressed. It takes me longer than that just to start breathing in the morning.

Hooli's Bimmer looks like it'll be really nice when you're done. Except for the hole on the hood to accomidate the air cleaner you'd never know it had a big block Chevy in it. That S-10 pickup bed looks almost stock, and if it wasn't red you'd think it was a Bimmer Sport Truck. Much better than a stock BMW, I agree- and what else can you do with a used BMW? They have no resale value.

Thanks again for the hospitality, Lazs, great meeting you and Hooligan and look forward to see how that BMW/S-10 Sport Truck handles once the 800 pounds of cement in the pick up bed hardens.

thanks airhead... a clean house and clean garage are the signs of an unstable mind.... a clean engine is next to godliness.

We have decided that the wimpy M3 seats will not take the compression of our manly bodies during acceleration and will have to get some good ones.. the little bimmer ones are nice tho... I will fab them up into either bar stools or high chairs for grandchildren.

Maybe you could cut holes in one of them and turn it into a potty chair for your grand daughter- you could send the other one to Rip for a replacement for his seat. His must be worn out by now, given the fact Ripsnort eats, sleeps and has sex in his car.

Once the flames are painted on the front of Hooli's Bimmer you'll have to post some pics for the other BMW owners here who might be intrested in a S-10/V8 conversion for their own underpowered BMWs.

What are you going to do with the stock M-3 BMW block? I'm looking for a replacement motor for my riding lawnmower, but I'm not sure the BMW block will have the power it takes for heavy duty grass cutting. Perhaps you could replace that little electric motor in your granddaughter's plastic kiddy car, or do you think she'd notice the loss of power if you did?
