They should arrive in Iraqi airspace in about an hour from now (current 16:30 GMT).

Wonder what the target is......

40% of my vote for target goes to Bahgdad (SP?)

40% more of my vote goes for the northern airfields north of Bahgdad.

20% of my vote goes for indivual targets around bahgdad.

The B52s can carry 27 tonnes of bombs each, it was reported today. They can also carry and launch cruise missiles. I would have thought bombs (bunker busters) was more likely because cruise missiles can be launched from ships.

Yes, around 1730 (or perhaps a little later? it's 6 hours from Fairford to Iraq) they will arrive.

I would say they are going to give Bagdad a show bombing any bunkers or troop areas south of the city.
