I think it was reset twice by HTC for bug fixes two weeks ago, it sure is boring as hell on the same map for the whole TOD.

Needs more vehicle bases.

FYI - Rooks reset Knights on Trinity yesterday, not less than 12 hours after the MAW, FreeBirds, et. al. had staged a major Knight win-back of their home bases.

Oh yeah... I forgot... the 25% fuel thing... that really destroys any fun and affects planes unevenly (25% is a lot more range in a mustang than a spit)but... I have said that before.

If the fields were closer together and fuel couldn't get below say 50% and... capture was simpler... there would be more fighting and more fun.

How about if after a field is captured, the fuel is increased to 50%? Or see my other thread about fuel.

Fuel doesn't affect GVs.  Needs more vehicle bases near air bases.  Also need the M4 Sherman Calliope (rockets) and M7 Priest.

I'd put in a vote for a 5 day reset (as long as the country with the most fields wins the war... keeps people wanting to take bases, etc. as the time is winding down).

Hey I know... how about a big ticking clock at the end with some crowd noise chanting "10, 9, 8, 7, ...!"   :D

any advance is screwed until ya capture the hub base--its no longer possible for 1-2 guys in goons to fix a base---and until ya capture the hub base...,ya sit there with 25% gas....no acks...no troops---and EVERY map finally ends when bish day-gangers start the rout on rooks...night would normally finish that off

Not true... obviously the more damage that's done the more supplies are needed. A base can be repaired by goons. The main problem is people are so intent on attacking bases that they don't factor in repairing the bases as they move. I have never seen a flight of 4 to 8 supply goons in an attack group. Usually there's a ton of fighters, maybe a couple of bombers and 1 or 2 troop goons...that's it!

Get with the SIMMULATION guys...start flying with a purpose other than perk points.
Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

nhwk... I think you want to simulate the boredom of long "missuns"... I think a lot of us want to simulate the actionand excietment of air combat.   I am of the latter ilk.

How about trading perks for fuel on fields with less than 100%?  Would be like a seasoned officer knowing how to get fuel in his bird when there is otherwise none available.

BTW: I really, really like the Trinity map. But I have to confess that it was really getting old being a Knight stuck in that same corner day after day. Put my vote down for automatically retiring a map after n days.

There was one decent air to air fight between the bish and the rooks over control of a field in Rookland.

Bish finally take it. Fine. But Fuel is 25%.

Effort starts again between this new Bish field and the next closest Rook field, about 1.5 sectors apart. Well, 25% doesn't allow you much fighting time if you plan on making it back.

So, in a RARE appearance in a C-47, I fly field supplies to the new Bish field from a Bish field nearly two sectors North. One trip... fuel 25%. OK, what the heck, one more trip. Fuel STILL 25%. That's it for me.

So I take a Mustang, which I haven't flown much lately with 25% to get my ACM fix. Basically about 5 minutes driving down to the fight, 5 minutes fighting and the bug out for home with a bit of gas so you can rearm and fight some more. Need to have a bit extra because there are bandits over the home field and you may have to fight your way down to rearm.

Now easily porked fuel, distance between fields, slow field resupply function all figure into this and the result was a LOT of flying (if ya count the C-47 runs) and not much fighting. Even if you don't count the C-47 runs, there was much more droning to the fight than fighting. Not a good thing for my personal game interest.

Now I don't know what you guys come here for but..............

I like to hear the rattle of the guns.

Just my .02.

This has been "the norm" for me lately too and it sucks. Throw in the microwarps, etc... so I've been playing more offline games, just got FB in the mail today. ;)

It's sad as I really liked this game on the smaller maps when it was 350-400 normal people in arenas. No warps or invisible planes, closer fields, etc...

To conclude I'd say YES to auto-reset after 4 days. As to the "ahead on fields" get the perks I say NO because usually whoever is ahead on fields just has the numbers. I say get the reset within the 4 days or try again on a new map...

pizza is allmost as bad as infinity but there is a chance for a good cv battle in pizza.

maybe if both maps had about 30 more cv groups.
