OpIVY you only have 29 posts. When that increases to 2900 over the next two weeks you'll be there.

There are two types of aces :

The basic Ace and the respected Ace.

The respected Ace is the one who achieved his reputation by galentery/courtesie more than with skills.

The basic Ace, well... is just an Ace, nobody cares about him.
Dat jugs bro.

Gallantry and courtesy don't necessarily exclude skill. Take a look at Mitsu.

Hey! Let's not forget Ice!

Anybody that takes the 51 as a handicap and then has a K/D like Ice's, deserves the title 'Ace.'

You'll have a lot more fun if you don't worry about what it takes to be a AH ace.  Actually it is all underrated. I really don't consider the sim pilots in AH as aces, but I classify them as really good or great "sticks".

Just being a half-way decent stick and fun to fly with, and against, is just great in most people's book. So don't worry and fly to have fun, it'll grow with ya.  Before ya kow it, Waaaa-Laaaa!!
