Palm tree objects?
« on: March 10, 2003, 05:20:33 PM »
Does anyone have a set of tropical clutter or objects?  My Hawaii map is practically finished now, but I'd like to apply a different set of tiles and clutter to make it more "Hawaii-ish".  thx

Use the TE's default palm tree object/shape. I remember it is named "GC007" in the object's list...

And it is not so difficult to make new "Hawaijian tree" skins for example over "GC009" and "GC019" which are trees. I have made from them Finnish Pines and Birches to my FinRus map!;)

Sundog made a list

"Here's a list of the clutter types. My definitions may not be the best, but you'll know what I mean."  Sundog

Clutter Number    Clutter Type
GC000       - Water Sprites (Wave break details)
GC001       - Bush/small rock
GC0018       - Shore barriers
GC002       - Small rocks
GC003       - Sheep
GC004       - Sheep
GC005       - Fir trees
GC006       - Snowmen
GC007       - Palm tree
GC008       - Pine tree
GC009       - Leaf (Deciduous) tree
GC010       - Grass huts
GC011       - City buildings
GC012       - Factory buildings (w/o stacks)
GC013       - Houses
GC014       - Large boulders
GC018       - Shore barriers

"The ones below are variations wrt to the above shapes. However, I think the below objects are just variations for different lighting conditions, so I wouldn't use them for the actual tile type clutter style."  Sundog

Clutter Number    Clutter Type
GC0100       - Dark palm trees
GC0101       - Dark pine trees
GC0102       - Dark leaf trees
GC0103       - 'light tinted' grass huts
GC0104       - Dark city buildings
GC0105       - Dark factory w/ smoke stacks
GC0106       - Dark houses
GC0107       - Large boulders
