Patch 4: self modifying code?
« on: March 29, 2003, 06:56:23 PM »
Up until patch 4 each new install of AH would require but one "add" to my firewall / trojan protection software (BlackIce Defender) to keep it running without being flagged as a trojan.  After patch 4 I must re-enable with the firewall SW each time I load AH.  It's no big deal, but does this version use self modifying code?  ie does aceshigh.exe edit itself each time it runs (thereby causing the firewall SW to retag it as a possible trojan)?

i BOUGHT black ice defender, used it for a while, then deleted it and reinstalled zone alarm. I really like the zone alarm interface better than black ice defender's. JMHO
