Tiger I and game balance attacking VFields

The typical situation:

U drive in your panzer for five long minutes to reach an enemy vehicle base. After your first shot a Tiger spawns and kill you with a single ping.

My typical situation:

After flying my C-47 for 10-20 minutes, I get to a field that has a destroyed town.  Right before I drop my troops, a fighter ups and shoots me!  What chance do I have against a fighter?  I have no guns!

You have given us your whine ... now give us your idea on how to balance it.

My suggestion ... bring a BIGGER tank. Tiger vs. Tiger would seem to fit the situation.

In RL u would be dead also when u drive a panzer alone to an enemy field.

why stop there? why not bring a challenger II?
