Over the past week, I saw two American flags lying in the middle of the road in two seperate places with people just driving right over them. The downside of flying a flag on your car I guess. Regardless of your views on the current adminitration's policies, we are all Americans and should not be driving over the symbol of our great country. Maybe a lot of people simply didn't see them lying there, but with the ammount of traffic in these areas I know a lot of them did.
When a disabled vet, or the family member of someone who has given their life in the service of this country sees dozens of people driving over the symbol of the country they've sacrificed so much for, they wonder if that sacrifice really means anything. If we've forgotten something as fundamental as that, we're really in trouble.
Just had to vent.
