Budget video cards

is radeon 9500 a budget card? I heard that the 9500 pro is 10% slower than 9700 pro.

RADEON 7000 would be a good budget card, 9500 and 9700 are a tad pricey for my budget, though (college student)

I am happy with my GeForce3 ti200 only spent $50 and get constant 65-75 fr  :D
