http://www.directron.com

Good monitors prices there and the shipping is not bad at all. Also they have been nice people each time I have called them ordering stuff. I have a buddy that lives close to them and he buys stuff all the time there.

make sure you get a Flat panel monitors (NOT TFTs) so that you can kill people in Spit 9s 24/7 without hurting your eyes:D

If your gonna get a flat panel you'd better make sure it has less than 20ns pixel response time or your going to get horrible ghosting in games.

Ike,

I would like to get rid of the HUGE box that sits on my desk and replace it with some new "Flat" trecnology, but when I went and searched on Sony Flat Panel monitors and all of them are TFT.

For those that know, please explain what would be the best Flat Panel Monitor to get and what characteristics should one look at to choose.

Does Pixel Pitch have a lot to do with it ... and anything else you can think of ?

Thanks ....

Check out the Sony 21" Trinitron at http://www.newegg.com.  The box mine came in was so big that I couldn't fit it through the interior doorways so I took it out of the box and carried it in my arms.   The screen is HUGE.  Its like flying with a movie theatre screen.
