Check out Wulfie's old posts describing how Pakistani agents were putting their lives on the line to bring Al Queda suspects to justice. You might find it interesting.

You idiot.

I meant "a hand written note delivered by an Iraqi witness" sounded like a cover story for humint resources .

You love the pulpit .

With the sole purpose to help the Hijacking of thread I respecfully inform the readers that here you can have a beer in a Bar at 16 :p

But anyone helping a minor (age <18) to be drunk will have a lot of trouble ... (french laws are somewhat strange ...)

Seem's legit enough. Then again everybody was saying she had bullet wounds too...
Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

The Iraqi who helped Jessica was a Lawyer...his wife was a nurse at the hospital....

he went to visit his wife.....alot of Fedayeen Saddam soldiers where there...he found that wierd...so he asked around...was told an american POW was there...he went to take a closer look....he found a Man slapping Jessica around in her room....then he heard someone mention cutting off her leg.....he couldn't let that continue....

he went on a search for the Americans....which he found 6 miles out of town....soldiers asked em details....so he went back to get em....IF THE FEDAYEEN FOUND OUT.....HE WOULDA BEEN SHOT.....he did risk his life...he is a HERO for Jessica.

later on he found out the FEDAYEEN went to his house and ransacked it....lucky he was in the US hands or bye bye..he'd be dead.

his name is Mohamed...last name unknown

a big to Mohamed....someone couragous enough to help a wounded soldier in need.

Duedel,

she can drink....   on post...  exp.  At Fort Bliss Texas there were no constraints for drinking.  If you had a military ID you could drink.  In korea any post there you could drink... not to mention anywhere off post...  Soju kettle anyone.....

And cheap too in Korea they try to keep morale up so you could by a 6 pack of American (piss water to any euro) for 2.50 and import for 3.00 dollars US...  (I like Chimay myself.  just for the record.)

A bottle of bacardi 151 and normal bacardi were both 8.00 per 750ml...(pricing error? I always bought 151....   8P)

not bad...

Servicemen and women on post could drink...  Thats how it was 8 years ago... may have changed but thats how it was...

2 cents..

You know, when I first read that she had 2 broken legs and a broken arm, the first thing that popped into my head was that the interrogators first broke 1 leg to try and get her to talk, then broke the other, then broke an arm, and was going to break the other arm, then start amputating parts.  The other 11 maybe went through the same process individually, then were shot non-fatally, then executed, then the next one would be brought in and go through the process, and so forth, and Jessica just happened to be last in line.  But maybe that's because I saw Al Pacino in "Scarface" back in the '80s...

Call me cynical, but I have a hard time taking someone seriously who's avatar suggest he is a big fan of female hair care and personal hygene products.  ;)

yeah, sorry to disagree, but I find that to just be in poor taste.

And it's rare I  find anything to be in poor taste.

mrs. rose... I hope you are righrt and it sets back women in combat 30 years.  A hundred would be better.

I am glad she is safe.   she is being touted as a hero.  The man who risked the sadmans wrath and walked through "enemy" lines at night twice is a "hero"..  the men who risked everything to get her out are heros.... she provided the opportunity for a lot of good men to be heros.

I like her... I think she is cute and probly brave... I don't think she shoulda been there in the first place.

Yes, I'm glad Jessica Lynch is safe, but this incident is just gonna set the entire cause of women in combat back by 30 years. To break it down, she is a soldier and knew the risks when she joined. Capture is always a possibility when you're deployed to hostile territory. You don't see the media hounding the male POWs, do you? I say, we just breathe a sigh of relief, and get on with our lives. Don't be surprised if you don't hear much about women in combat for the rest of the Iraq campaign, though.

Just my two cents...*awaits the first flak burst in the posterior region*

Huh?

Are there male pow's to hound? --- No!

Would there have been a rescue if she were a he? - Of course!

You have no point.. move along.

I have to say, it did not take long for the military propagandists and media sensationlists to spin PFC Lynch into a 21st century Audie Murphy.

Not to Hijack this thread again, but we had beer machines(like coke machines) in every barracks back in the day. It didn't ask for I.D.  Anchor Steam buddy!
