http://www.geocities.com/artyomtnk/multyframe.htmlThis event take place over Sinai at 1956 when Israel, French and British forces attacked Egypt to open Suez channal for free passage. Egypt and Israel had used in this years Meteors squadrons - that is simulated by Me262 also Egypt had Il-28 bombers that close to Ar234. So the most of forces in this event uses jet planes. Israel used also Mustangs and Mosquito as strike planes.
In this event IAF have to capture Sinai and Egyptions have to prevent this.
The forces:Egypt:
- 4 Meteor/262 Figth squadrons
- 2 Il-28/Ar235 Strike squadrons
- 3 GV brigades
Israel:
- 4 Meteor/262 Fight squadrons
- 2 Mustang Strike squadrons
- 1 Mosquito Strike squadron
- 2 GV brigades
The event is based on theritory capturing by ground brigades, and air forces cover them and get air supriority over the Sinai.
The interesting points in the event are:- Fights of same types of planes at both sides
- Most of figthers are Jets - much different flight and fight
- A lot of strike missions of assistance to Ground Forces.
- New theritory and terrain of Israel and Egypt
