Using pics in signature

1. Why can't we use the IMG tags in our signatures?

2. I've noticed a couple people who seem to have images show in their sigs, so I guess there is some way to do it. Anyone know how it is done? (Check 'SWOOPS' posts, for example)

(just put the image tag in yer siggy, then hit 'edit' immediately after posting and then repost. dunno why this works, but it does)

If you paste (or simply write) the UBB code for your signature, you can include images. If you use the handy-dandy automatic signature feature contained on the bulletin board, you cannot.

You can also do what Hangtime says and essentially submit each post twice.
