Anybody watching "American Chopper" on discovery?

Cool new series, comes on monday nights at 9 central. It covers the day to day runnings of a custom harley shop in new york. I bet lazs watches this one. :)
I sympathize with young paulie. Poor dude catches it worse than I do. Being in business with your dad can be pretty stressful. ;)

Saw the promo for it and it looked interesting. I'm a Monster Garage fan, but I think they cheat. Too many freebee's.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Yeah I like the way the father is always pissed off, and the son seems to have all the talent.  It's cool to see what they can make with their bare hands, too.

never heard of it but I like watching people make stuff...

In the old days when we walked 30 miles in the snow to and from our little garages (uphill both ways) there were no sissy custom shops (except the ness studmuffin but that's another story) and everyone built their bikes from a basket case...  if it came chrome of if you knew somebody... it was chrome.   krylon black was easy to match.   $2,000 was a lot of money to spend building a bike and they all had these levers that stuck outta the tranny on the right side that you needed to jump on (don't forget to retard the spark) to make em go vroom vroom.

platimum visa accountants in gucci leather outfits and women did not go bar hopping with you...  If they did... they probly would find that they didn't have a bike when they came out.

The law expected to see 30 or so bikes at bars and didn't care.

maybe things are better now... I'm just not interested tho.
