When I see you cheer about war.. It only brings one thought to my mind: What if YOU were one of the thousands wounded / killed. What if YOU were one of the coalition troops that died..

You wouldn't be gleeful at all. You'd be dead.

Think about it.. Real people are dying and you have the nerve to talk smack about the war. It's sickening.

At least when the war is won there will be no more killings as would be if Saddam was left in power, think about it and get off your high horse ya love muffin!

I am sure everyone hear knows that war is not a thing to be celebrated, I support the war and our troops. Do I want civilians to die of course not, the American troops are doing there best not to let that happen.

Unfortunately bombs, missiles and bullets dont always hit there target. We should all hope this war ends soon and the people of Iraq are given water, food, medical attention and other supplies asap.

GScholz
So we should have let Hitler stay in power, or perhaps just let him have all of Europe. I am not denying your statement just putting a spin on it.

The greater tragedy has been the years of abuse, torture, and murder by Saddam and his supporters. The ones I see most joyfully celebrating are the Iraqis. Would you deny them the joy of their new found freedom? Well, you might try but neither we nor they will let you.

The "reality" is that more people die in Iraq of starvation EACH year than were killed in the entire gulf war.

Diverting money from the Food for Oil program into his military, not to mention his pockets may have had something to do with that.

Yes,it would be terrible to show open joy for the downfall of this man.

Udie, since I am not a religious person, could I ask you to ask, say, a secular entity to bless us instead?

Or maybe there is a god. Maybe I better place both spots.

Never mind

You don't know what the hell you're talking about.  There are more people from different countries in America than any other country in the world.  That's why it's called the melting pot.  I was in first grade with Indians (from India) Vietnamese, Black, White.  Through my teens my best friends from from Iran.  I bet I know more about that culture than you would ever want to know, but I'm a dumb Texan American so that can't be right.  Then there are my (EX) labanese friends, they were psycho!  They took sadaam's side in Gulf War 1 so I stopped hanging out with them at that time.  I knew more people of diferent nationality by the time I was 6 than most people from other countries know in their whole life.  How many Vietnamese children did your family adopt?

How many conversations about what N. Vietnam did to the south after we left have you had with the guy that owns the convenience store down the street from your office, who you see every day and know by name?  How many hispanics did you talk to today?   How many arabs did you see?  How many English people do you see every day? South Africans? Aussies?  Chinese? How many of them do you call friend?

How many Japanese teachers did you have growing up? I had 2.  How many Russian teachers?  I had 1 and she was very glad to be in America ;)  How many people from South and Central America have you ever met?  Several here....  My best friend in 7th and 8th grade was from Calgary.  They used to brag about thier rodeo, but never convensed me that it was bigger than the Houston rodeo.  Then there was my buddy Johan and his brother Sabastian from Norway. We were good friends in 4th and 5th grade.  Really nice mom too she used to make us all Coolaid (Oh YEAH! :D) to drink in the afternoon when we were playing football in front of their house.

How many diferent cultures do you have in your country?  There are people of about 6 different nationalities that live on my street.  Yours?  Please don't talk to us about international POV's,  it's all around us here in America.....

ignorant arrogant frog....

Well not really, in USA, if you happen to voice a different opinion you get insulted rigth away. People start yelling at you with a bunch of true and not so true concepts.

As far as I'm concerned, the arrogant is definitly the "American" as they are totaly not open to discussion. They say:"go ahead, I'd like to ear about your ideas"... but in the middle of it, they start raising their voice and shoot at you for 20 minutes straights about all the cliches fed by TV. The best being boby joe who never left L.A. talking how I don't know how life is in France.:D

rarely I could have a descent discussion were I wasn't talking to a perrot. With hae a saying in France: "whoever knows the least about a subject, will be the one with the strongest opinion".
Alas, many americans, while trying to chalenge them, didn't behave better than a Arab nationalist interviewed by Al-Jeezira.

You are now cleared to resume your bashing, this sanity break was offered you by Freedomy.:D
Dat jugs bro.
