"who is going to rebuild us after we cant afford to pay for our country schools? Shouldnt we invade idaho or montana by this logic?"

Didn't our last prez take care of this problem during the last eight years?

Sorry you said

"who is going to rebuild us after we cant afford to pay for our country schools? Shouldnt we invade idaho or montana by this logic?"

Do they need to be rebuilded or not? If they do, what the hell does a balanced budget have to do with it? Was there any poverty in this country during this balanced budget? If so, how is this possible? After all, the budget was balanced right?

i was refering to all the terrorists that live in those states. you know like that compound in waco that we took care of. and like that white all american boy that bombed a federal building a couple years back.

oh and yes, when the government has massive tax cuts and cant afford to give money to the states. the states lose funding and in turn have to raise the state taxes or start cutting programs. of course the pork barrel never is the first to get the axe because thats how they get elected.

With this statement

"who is going to rebuild us after we cant afford to pay for our country schools? Shouldnt we invade idaho or montana by this logic?"

and

"your right the last president did have the budget balanced. something a republican hasnt done, i what half a decade?"

has to do with

"waco and terrorists that live in those states"

is beyond me.

There were allegations recently of some large shipments trucked to Syria before we manned the border checkpoints.  Hmm, if Assad Jr. gives sanctuary to war criminals *and* their contraband WMD, that might convince some major players that grounds exist for "serious consequences" for that regime, or at least exploratory covert action.  If Assad is smart he won't get involved in those games, but the same thing applied to Saddam.

While it would have little to do with liberation, I hope we go into Syria and kick the crap out of their government.

i personally dont care about muslim dictators, i just care about wasteing cash going around playing nation builder and pretending these countrys had something to do with 9/11. while the country that did.saudia arabia. goes untouched because our government kiss's their ass. If your going to liberate oppresed people at least be consistent about it.

I'd say it's a bit early to draw any conclusions. From the article:

"David Kay, a former IAEA chief nuclear inspector, said Thursday that the teams he oversaw after the 1991 Gulf War (news - web sites) never found an underground site at Tuwaitha despite persistent rumors."
