Attention Fleet Commanders....

It is not necessary to bump into the shore off the Enemy Coast prior to launching strikes.

I know the fleets are still getting sorted and as an avowed landlubber I may be out of place but I think you sailor boys gotta get your act together.

Carrier Air Group please and start launching escorted strikes with TBMs way earlier, they can fly more than 10 miles ya know.

It is amazing what can be accomplished during the 15 minute window provided when fighter hangers go down.

TBMs are obsolete and should not be used except for as torpedo carriers. An F4U or F6F will do more damage just as well, and doubles as a fighter

With all due respect... Horsepucky, Duma.

TBM packs 12 100 pounders.. can take down all the field ack; piece of cake. A pair of TBM's with the ack loadout can down a small fields ack in one pass, and their JBO loaded F6F5 Hellkittys close escorts can slam down the hangers in seconds flat. Toss in a few F4U1c's to pound any armor that leaked out, and the Navy packs a formidable FAST ATTACK capability.

Further.. the TBM can TURN.. definitly the most agile level bomber in the game.. and can do a pretty decent job on offence and defence if the pilot stops thinkin "im a buff" and starts thinkin "I'm gonna kick this weenies ass".
