WTF is a CM?

The term "CM" comes from long ago in AirWarrior, when this type of game was in its infancy.

CM literally comes from "Campaign Manager".

CM as it applies to AcesHigh, is an individual player, who has been given access to the arena settings for the Special Events Arena (SEA) by HiTech Creations.

This is so that individual or a group of CM's, can run special events such as short term (ie one day) historical events, tournaments, or long term historical events spread out (but interlinked in concept) over several "nights" of play.

Right now there is a group of about 20 of us who have been granted this priveledge (and its attending responsibilities), and as a group we are called the "CM Group" or "Scenario Corps".

Did I miss anything?

The only downside to an allied vs axis arena is that inevitably... planesets will favor one side over the other.

I personally don't have a problem with this, but I read at least 10 threads a week describing how over-under-incorrectly modeled things are right now.  The average player is either

a) going to scream unbalanced
b) going to scream uber
c) going to scream unfair

when they lose a battle.

Sure this is a pecemistic aproach to the situation... but I really don't think a majority of the community is mature enough to make the axis/allied scenario work without some kind of moderators... and that's not practical.

People aren't being forced to fight in whatever they are provided with in order to protect their country's ideologies... they are allowed to chose whatever is best.  

I know what most of the people who participate in this thread would do... but what do you think the average AH pilot would do?
