Kendall-Jackson Vintner's reserve Chardonnay, served well-chilled with crusty Italian bread and some parmisano reggiano cheese.

Now that's living.

Snifter?

A Texan with a snifter?

Your horse must be ashamed to be tied up out front with you in the saloon drinkin' out of a snifter!

You ever see John Wayne order a snifter of whiskey and tell the barkeep to "leave the bottle"?

get a draught of something.   Newcastle Brown would be my primary choice.  Guinness after that.  Lately I've been having Red Hook (both their porter and their amber ale.)  It really depends on where I'm at though, as few places here have a large selection of draught beers.  "Whaddya have on tap?"  "Bud, Bud Light and Miller Lite"  :(  "I'll have sweet tea."

Exception is at McGuire's here in P'cola.  They brew their own, so I either get their stout or porter, unless their seasonal sounds good.  The Christmas Ale is very tasty.  :)

Of course at home, I just drink Nifty Brew.  :)  I've got a batch of Nut Brown Ale bubbling away at home right now.

Visited my brother in Denver last weekend and tried some Fat Tire Ale. Draft was great, hoping the bottled stuff is good also.

Either

Bushmills Black Bush

Don Julio Anejo

or

Gosling's Black Seal Rum (the best)

Take three fingers of one of those and two ice cubes.  Or a cold Guinness, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Shiner Bock.
