anyone playing the planetside public beta?

What do you think of the game?

i think the lag is the worst! it reminds me of TRIBES but on a bigger scale.
I like the fact you have to kill things to get credits to upgrade your armor and stuff.

Just got my CDs yesterday... can't stop playing this beast

Myself and some others kept taking some vanguards and flying around an enemy base running people/things over and blowing things up. Overall it was havoc... hilarious

But yeah, definitely Tribes on a HUGE scale.

I can't seem to figure out how to map the flight controls to a joystick. I suppose it doesnt really matter... I'm getting used to the mouse.
