Tour 22 perk plane usage: a simple chart

K/D should have nothing to do with perk cost. The % of total kills each plane gets should determine perk costs in the next tour. Most planes would end up unperked, and after a few tours we would have a balanced perk system.

I completely disagree.

K/D has everything to do with it.  Basically, the perk system allows for aircraft that have the potential to completely unbalacance the arena to still exist in the arena in an non-unbalancing manner.

The current high-use aircraft are not unbalancing.  They are simply highly used.  They are just as prone to be killed as get a kill.  There will always be favorite rides and no amount of perking in the world will overcome that.

As for Toad's argument... it too is irrelevant.  As a rule, good pilots are good no matter what they fly in.  But the plane can make them more lethal.  Some planes simply are better than others.  That's what the perk system is about.

There are planes that need to be perked regardless of use... simply because of potential.  Those are the planes I am adressing.

Deja, we agree that the good pilots already have enough perks to fly anything they want?

So perks don't prevent the "Top Guns" from taking any aircraft they feel like flying.

In fact, few of the true "Top Guns" fly around in perk planes much at all. They like to "keel ya" in something less than uber to provide more of a challenge for themselves, I'm guessing.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

They don't prevent anyone from taking the plane up.  They simply make the plane less appealing.  This is simply a discussion on how much more or less appealing those planes should be made ;)

i will not pay more per Tempest because F4U4 is cheaper and every idiot trying it!
This graph is god but missing 1 inportant thing. How many sorties were did, by how many difrent pilots?

If 6 peoples fly 262 and fly it damned good that is not reason why should price grow.
But if 50 people will fly 262  its time to grow price.
