Philippine Terrain Porked?
« on: May 02, 2003, 09:10:47 PM »
I've downloaded the terrain twice and I get the same result every time I enter the map room whether online of offline...

The programs seems to be running, but it's going at a less than a snail's pace. While online, it will cause a "host connection lost" condition.

After trouble-shooting further... seems the problem only exists while on a CV. Land-based maprooms work okay.

Yes, everyone in my squad had same problem. Entering map room from a CV causes program to REALLY bog down. I had to Alt+Tab and shut down AH.

I don't know if its specific terrains, but I have only ever noticed this problem in the SEA.

I'm starting to think that porked terrains are a Squad Operations / TOD tradition.  It seems like every terrain this year has had at least one pretty severe flaw.
