So when is the appropriate time for a coach to leave, Gofaster? When is it morally acceptable for him to exercise his buy out that he has every legal right to exercise at any time he chooses? How is it morally acceptable for a fan, school or player to demand such loyalty from a coach that they must pass up a perfectly legal opportunity to better their and their families station in life?
Fact is, if it was up to the fans, players, schools, to decide when it was right for a coach to leave, then they would never leave -- until they had a losing season or two. Then their bellybutton would be out asap.
What is morally right in this situation is for the coach to do what is best for him and his family, and for the school, players and fans that the coach is leaving behind to be thankful for the time that they had the coach and to hope that his future turns out bright. What isn't morally right is for the school, fans or players to squeak and moan about a guy being immoral because he didnt stick with "the Team" until such time as they felt he should be fired.
