I agree with Hazed. I took a Hurricane IIc up tonight to the never ending battle of the A4 perk farm. People were endlessly spawning a division of GVs right outside of the town while the Knights had a field day with raking in the perks. I upped several times with the Hurricane and dropped 2 500lb bombs on the spawn point and strafed the survivors. Thing is.. I scored a direct hit on HiTech (hehe, I saw it fall on his lap in the driver's seat

), which instantly killed him.. and the other 500lber struck about 10m away and did nothing to the surrounding GVs. If they arent going to die, then the blast should atleast bounce them around

. The next wave came in and i simply strafed them. I squeezed a good 6-7 kill sortie each time out of the Hurri's small-ish magazine of 20mm. Before I RTB'd, I made sure every round would count. 14 20mm rounds later I scored 2 more kills. Thats insane. It seems your ammo either has good days or bad days. If it 'feels' like taking out a GV, it will. If it 'feels' like bouncing off and doing nothing, it will. The damage model seriously needs to be looked at, and the M8's transmission needs to be looked at.. the mechanic has been slacking these days... One more thing, the M3 *should* be lightly armoured and vulnerable to any sort of attack. It's tin foil compared to a Panzer4. If this is to balance gameplay, then the gameplay is screwed up. The M3 should have lighter armour making it a higher risk to the user. The balancing for GVs should be only used for the GV category.. not GV to Air balancing. A Panzer is stronger than an M4 is stronger than an M8 is stronger than an M3. It should be realistic compared to other ground units. If you're in an M3 and you're raked by any aircraft (given their aim is sufficient), the crew can be very easily injured if not killed. I could go on with more examples but i'm dead tired.
oct out!
