Lamy said the EU was encouraged by the determination of Congress and the U.S. administration to change the law and hoped that any solution would be fully in line with WTO rules. But he has also said in the past that EU patience is not infinite.

Apparently the EU only has infinite patience when you are required to adhere to UNSC resolutions.

EU is a joke.  OH NO! Sanctions!

Naw, if you add to that the fact that they are going to have to tighten budget spending... they might change their mind.

EU orders France to cut its deficit

This means we won't have MD and KFC anymore around here? or are the US business going to move to Ireland like most of them did?

WTO...

Easily  the best organization at keeping third world nations third world.  I despise every aspect of it (U.S. participation included).

They are all here in Ireland already. I'm sitting here in one now. They all like the fact that we speak English, are well educated,  don't hate Americans and work the longest hours in Europe. It even looks a bit like Vermont or Maine only with more rain.
