Couldn't Skuzzy just monitor map time up and force a rotation if a map becomes stagnant. Seems the more logically rotation instead of the mandatory one map a week.

Stagnant?  You mean when people like you are bored/bummed...?  fact is, where some are bored, many others are having a blast.

Why make THEM pay only to have their fun taken away by a minority of whiners?  It's a two way street.

Pizza has been in rotation for more than a week in the past before this new system was introduced.  Now that it's in writing, there's no need to protest.  I believe this system is satisfying the majority of the community.

I beg to differ. Land grabbers and milk runners love pizza. But there are far more furballers that would like to find a decent fight, not a gangbang.

I'd love to see an ingame HTC poll on the pizza map popularity.

Pizza is ok if its reworked.
That yellow/brown coloured textures needs to be changed.
After playing one hours,my eyes begins to hurt.
And the edges of the canyons should be reworked, too. And there are 2 or 3 stationary waves in the sea.Someone forgot to level the textures.

And on ALL maps ,the 3 lowest fieldnumbers should be placed close to the 3 HQs.
Because of the fact that you spawn at the lowest fieldnumber when entering the game, this could help to bring all the newbies to the hot spot (HQ) if its burning.

And bring back the trees and rocks!!!!
Whoever disabled them:this was a step back to stoneage.
In Kantorris finlandmap, the trees are destroyable. Why not in MA?

Absolutely I agree.
I Like the week per map idea. I think it is the fairest way to go about it.
That way everyone is assured to be able to actually play on the maps they like. Rather then logging on, happily seeing your favorite map is up only to find out its being overrun or about to be reset because everyone is in such a rush to reset the map.
My two favorite maps are Pizza and Trinity. I like the bigger maps cause there is more to do. and it doesn't force you to furball if you do not want to.  I get easily bored with those other puny maps that were obviously designed for half the numbers that play.
Personally I hate the last map we were on before pizza, Minandoodoo or whatever the hell its called. But I live with it for the most part, without complaint.
Pizza whiners really crack me up.
First of all I was on all day yesterday and saw the whines just as I have int he past. And over the entire day I took notice and not for the first time either, that the total of complaints was from like 40 different people. Over the ENTIRE day. LOL even if there were 100 complainers, which there are not that would hardly  be what I would call a majority. The thing that makes it seem like there are alot more then there really are is they complain so OFTEN.
The same people over and over and over again.
Another thing that amuses me is these complaints about not being able to find a fight. Opening your eyes might help LMAO There are plenty of furball type fights on the larger maps. I spent the better part of 4 hours yesterday in one, and never have a problem finding one if that's what I feel like doing.
Furballs are easy to start. Just take a couple of planes and fly to a base, you don't have to pork it, just kill Barracks or something. and sooner rather then later people will show up.
Another way is to simply to fly to a base that's under attack. Too long a fly time? don't grab as hard and you will find you get to your destination at around the same alt as you would if you used autoclimb, only you get there faster and don't have to fly level for half the trip just to get all your E back.
Or simply fly lower. If all you want to do is furball , why climb to 20K when most furballs take place at around 10-12K anyway
Then there is the ultimate solution.
Don't like the map? There is a little button on the clipboard that says "quit" that will make it all go away.
If enough people wont fly in it and they will have to rethink the map.
Heh, at the very worst the majority of us will finally be spared the incessant childlike whining about it.
sheesh! I have a 6 year old that doesn't whine as much as some of you people.

hell, just only play on weekends like me.  You won't have the same map two weekends in a row.  :)  You completely find new things to whine about!  ;)

I like Trinity, I have a hard time finding a fight on Pizza and it seems like when I do, I've got to fly a lot longer than I do on other maps in order to get shot down.

I personally petitioned for this sort of rotation repeatedly. I have the priviledge of having a girlfriend who thinks AH is the devil. Because of this I am unable, like alot of people, to play 24/7. In fact, between my job and my lil' woman I average 10 to 15 hours a week. To a casual player (one that can't play 100+ hours monthly). Being stuck on one map for 3 weeks or missing your favorite map for 3 months in a row because it lasted 7 hours is catastrophic to the enjoyment of the game. Everyone pays the same $15 a month, one demographic group of players is just as valuable as another economically to HT. There are far more 'casual' gamers paying $15 a month than career AH warriors.

At least with a scheduled rotation those people who work for a living can budget their discretionary free time around the gaming environment they most enjoy. This will, in effect, prevent alot of casual players from cancelling their accounts entirely due to overall scarcity of their personal enjoyment factor. The more active accounts we have the better...

To those 100 or so people that are lucky enough to play AH like a full-time job, I don't think rotation schedules mean as much to them. Since they are online 18 out of every 24 hours they have the opportunity to see and do everything they want anyways over the course of a month long camp.

Just  my 2 cents...

kantorri's trees and rocks are not set as clutter like in most MA maps... simple as that
