Let me start by saying that I wish I could say I am Rook (or Knit) by choice...fortunately, I haven't had to make mine.
Especially on seeing habits and behaviours, and likeing bananas myself, I thought I'd liked to be closer to the biped species than being some small, furry quadruped.
Mind you, not that I have nothing against rodents, one animal has to be what one animal have to be, but considering merits of each specie, I think my choice is closer to apes.
Merits aside, there is another thing to consider: being a freedom loving type of guy, sometimes closer to anarchist, being Rook comes only naturally. I guess for hoarde-behaviour kinda guys the option is obvious, too.
It is crystal clear what are respective behaviours in MA, numbers and tactics wise. So I won't ellaborate more on the matter. I think even rodents can understand this, let alone apes.
Notwithstanding what's previously said, I have to admit that large groups have their advantages:no matter how poor the individual skills are, you have a warm sense of security, generaly based on the wrong assumption that your individual probabilities of being killed are smaller than being alone. I say wrong because on certain animal species, the groups are killed to their last individuals. So their individual probabilities equal to the group's one.
Generally speaking, one can tend to agree that being a monkey is a bad thing. But when you dig only a bit, and you see the choices available, maybe is not that bad, after all.
So, if you ask me, I'm rather comfortable assuming my ape condition. When you learn some ACM and see what's the vector that rules the combat, you will see what I'm talking about.
