CH pedels qucik fix
« on: June 04, 2003, 06:50:51 PM »
My CH (USB) pedels were getting a little 'jumpy'.  I thought about taking off the base plate for a good cleaning but instead dusted out the tracks with compressed air and sprayed in some electrial contact clearner.

   "Bingo..."    good as new:cool:

I fired up my flight controls in preperation for signing on to AH again.  My Pro Pedals were not working.  I opened them up and found one of the black wires going from the AUTO/PLANE switch was cut.  I fixed it and now I have the task of getting the baseplate back on.

Has anyone ever done this?  I cannot seem to get the little notch into the slot opening which moves the potetiometer (mispelled).

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
