During the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Patrouille de France yesterday, on airbase 701 in the south of France,the British team performed the most professionnal,crisp,solid display I saw in years !


big ! you brits can fly !

Yes the Red Arrows are the truly 'formidable'. I'm looking forward to seeing them display in Galway in July this year.

But are they the best military display team in the world? Well it was a Red Arrows pilot who answered that question.

They are the best NINE aircraft team in the world.  The Patroulle de France are the best EIGHT aircraft formation. The Frecce Tricolori the best TEN aircraft formation. The Thunderbirds the best SIX etc etc.

Still room for argument there I think.
