Sounds too good to be true...ergo, it probably is...even if both were reported on Yahoo ;)

Actually the oil from turkey is true, or some very very powerful companies have been bamboozled beyond belief!

Aw, man, I was hoping that eventually I could tune in to HGTV and see the sexual anatomy of a tree blurred out.

Or at least hear about a meat tree rampage that was instigated when a farmer went to pick some fruit - "Hey, watch it Angus! That's not fruit down there!"

insects are a great alternative to meat.

Though I wont eat roach or moths and such, but i have tried grasshopper (tails only, baked); which tastes like dry chicken, and worm (a special jungle variety that the amazon indians consume on a daily basis... it was smoke-baked, kinda like the smoked salmon) which tasted like boiled egg with a drop of A1 sauce (im serious).

The protein found in a single insect is found in 1/2 a pound of meat.

I believe the daily recommended allowance for red meat is only 3 oz.

When is someone going to stop the vegitarians from pulling the veins out of mother earth and eating her very heart out, instead of just feeding on the surface parasites like the rest of us?

Just as anything on the internet can be falsified...how is it Snopes *has* to be right all the time?     If I wanted to disprove that Croation Water-Lemurs actually sang "Hakuna Matata" in Bosnia I could just write it up on Snopes and its automatically true!

You know, if we weren't supposed to eat animals, God wouldn't have made them taste like meat.

Damn... I was hoping the article would be true.  Citric acid starts to chaff after 3 minutes, and it usually takes me about 4 to finish.  This would have been the perfect solution.
