"Sunking Epox boards are very highly regarded for people that know computers very well and like to play with them and sqeeze out as much power as they can."

No kidding thats why I picked one up. Do some forum searches and you will see alot of threads about Epox boards and their short life spans. I was bummed they wouldnt even RMA the board.

Epox is making me E-poxic, me thinks this is the last time I'll buy Epox, that's why when I bought my first home made PC  SS7 motherboard I had an Asus board which was unstable crashed and it didn't even boot with an AMD 350. So no more Asus for EL Glassoid, the only two brands I've had that I'm 100% satisfied are and were FIC and Abit. Those two have never dissapointed me,and were very compatible with all kinds of RAM.

Glasses, you've probably done the obvious stuff, but I don't see it listed.

Remove everything from the board; apply power; listen for the appropriate number of beeps; put memory in; riinse & repeat with each component.

It could be a buggered mb; it could be buggered memory; it could be a badly shorted component; hell, it could be anything and the way to track it down is in the above paragraph.

Well right now I can't do Jacko Scheisse since I've got no CPU and I'm waiting for my new PSU to arrive and the Thermaltake Volcano 9 to arrive to rule out the over heating of my CPU and the PSU not having enough power apparently Epox recommends at least a 350Watt PSU to use with their little board, I contacted Epox and they told me the Thermaltake 420W W0009R is excellent for the Epox
so we shall see,no biggie though if it's the Memory or Mainboard Mwave so far has been good they took only 3 days to  process my RMA proccessor :-)
