ok after you make your map with the editor, open your "mapname" folder in the ah editor,
( C:\Program Files\HTC\aheditor\terrains\yourmaps name folder)

In this folder create a NEW FOLDER called TEXSRC.

open the editor make your map with the make map button under file link ( most maps are 512x512)

close the editor open your map name folder (C:\Program Files\HTC\aheditor\terrains\YOR MAPS NAME FOLDER) you will see a .bmp file called MAP

open  map.bmp with a paint editor program(ms paint etc...).

Save the map in your TEXSRC folder.. with 256 color ( must be this) call the map the same name as your terrain (eg if your terrain is called bish01   the map you save in the texsrc folder must also be called bish01 it has to be at 256 color to ok)

now re open your ah editor open the map you
 made and click build

Close the editor when its done

open your htc folder terrain folder ( C:\Program Files\HTC\aheditor\terrains)  copy your .res file  ( yourmapname.res) and paste it in your htc  aces high folder's terrain folder  (C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High\terrains)

your all set just  host a game with your new terrain or check it in offline option.
