Would it be possible to select in-tower what the combat trim... well, trims?
For me, the one thing that combat trim royally messes up is my elevator trim. Loop and the damn thing trims full up when the plane is 100mph on top of loop, which makes it real hard to get the plane to dive properly until I trim the thing back down. On the other hand, the Aleiron and Rudder trims do the job perfectly no matter the altitude, speed or attitude of the plane.
So, if HTC is willing, I would ask to please have an option to "check" which of the tabs receive the autotrimming when I fly with combat trim.
Clipboard->Combat Trim options :
Y Elevator Trim
N Rudder Trim
N Aleiron Trim
Or something like that.
