where are you playing from?

Hey MJ

Yeah, I'm about 70-80 miles from Mildenhall/Lakenheath, though it's only a 1hr 30min drive.  How you enjoying it?  You returning the states for good?

Have you been to Duxford yet?  That must only be about 30 (?) miles from you.  Also Hendon museum, North London, will be around 50-70 miles south of you?

It's been a good year, but yes, I'm going back for good in August to start pilot training.  Who knows, I may end up over here again in a few years.  My wife (AKAthena) and I did go down to the Duxford museum a while back, got some great pictures.  I hadn't heard of the Hendon one, I'll have to check it out.

There's also RAF Museum Cosford as well.  Aircraft include:-

Nope. They decided the baby blue looked a bit too much like a lake. They've voted to make it green.

Heck, Replicant, send us directions!!  Sounds like a couple of great museums.  We need to look into one of the Duxford airshows too.  I think there's a good one in July if I remember the schedule correctly.  :)

I am amazed at how many different countries are represented in AH, and mostly am amazed at how many people from different cultures can converse in game.

It took a while for me to find a map of North America with all the REALLY important places on it.:)

My home is circled in red....you may need an electron microscope.

Salute

I did start playing AH 2000/2001 in Hungary, Pecs-city. At begining my modem connection was really bad and ping time was 800-900ms... After some tweaking, I could get steady 330ms.

Now days I playing in south Finland and ping time is dead steady 170ms.

Hyva veto OverKill :D
