block and tackle.

LOL, like that guy holding onto the second forklift from the forks of the bigger one is going to be able to hold it and stop it from falling.

Very stupid, dangerous and not worth the risk

sometimes you need a forklift, sometimes you need a crane.

once upon a time i saw a crew raise a very heavy machine to the second floor of a factory using jacks and timbers.

I think that guy isn't holding onto the second forklift.. he's working it's controls.

R rated caption:

****ing around with forklifts

My job is actually as a tool owner that has to have equipment about 4 times that size (as much as 10 times) moved around occasionally.  Worst I've seen was a forklift that was lifting a piece of equipment that weighed 20 tons from the back of a trailer.  The equipment was just barely narowwer than the traler so the fork operator had to be paying particular attention to it.  As his wheels neared the back edge of the trailer, the trailer slid forward on the ramps it was on (disintigrating the front wheel chocks) and crashed down a foot and a half with the rear wheel of the forklift 1 inch from the edge (that is, 40% of the wheel was already over it).  The tool on the end of the forks was worth about 30 million dollars.  The puckering that occured at that instant sucked all the oxygen out of the room.
