First of all some disclaimers:
I fly both - WB and AH.
I like them both.
I don't work or am in any way assiciated with either of the two companies making those peoducts.
I DO work on con commitie for WB Con 2000 and i feel that i need to comment on few things here.
Ground rules that iEN put down for the Con are very much rational. They are there because of what happend ( or what might have been precieved as such ) at COn 1999.
Reps from Playnet were present at both cons and were demoing they still budding product.
Now, for us fligth sim folks - that's nice and dandy. But, iEN put down some major cash to make this thing happend - and they felt that a competitor was stealing the show.
I was there, i can't really blame them.
It's like having a Coke drinkers convention and Pepsi sending its reps to steal the audience.
Point is, you are free to come to WB con and play AH. I'm planing on flying AH with my squadmate from 308- funkedup and htrk - who will be in attendance.
But if you show up in HTC T-shirt ( not sure if they have any

) and do nothing but push people to AH and tell them how much better it is then WB - then you might be asked to leave.
So, if you are a fligth sim enthusiast - just come. Nobody will bother you.
If you are there to start the revolution - stay home.
Later this year there is a AH con. How would you people feel if HTC would dish out cash for the hotel , speakers and all the other crap - just to have playnet or iEN waltz in and show off their product ?
I hope this explains some things.
