stsanta, apar, and myself were merrily going about our business of jabo'ing a town at a desolate airfield tonight. One lone P38 decided to up and give us a fight. He engaged santa so I also engaged. He warped a good 400 yards in the middle of a half loop. I caught up to him on the deck a few hundred yards later and put a few rounds into him. I said in the text buffer after I was awarded the kill: "wow <insert name>, that was one big warp" or something like that ( didnt film it), along with a <S>. The pilot then responded with a "didnt stop you from shooting me down.. so shut up." I was shocked. Of course, that got me going, but i decided not to say anything. He then reupped along with a spit friend. I was still busy strafing the town so I gave no attention to them til they got within 1k. I engaged with low E and the spit waxed me. After that, I rolled again for the same field to finish off the city. I'm in a 190f8 fully loaded. I see another P38 around. I decide to stick it out and not go lite. This p38 gets on my low six and hovers around 900. I did a split S as i heard a .50 cal ping at that range from the p38. I ended up dying a strange death. I dont know how I died, but his countrymate was was awarded the kill. So I bail out, and open my chute somewhat high. Lo and behold, this same fellow screams in, kills my chute, and calls me a love muffin. Why? I dont know. I did nothing to provoke him at all. For all I know, he was just pissed off because he had been downed by me and was looking for someone/something to blame and relieve some of his agression.
I dont get it. I know some of you saw this go down in the chat buffer.. Did I say some thing wrong?
