using USB and game port together
« on: May 30, 2003, 11:08:45 AM »
Is it possible to use a USB stick and game pedals at the same time?

I'm getting sick of using this POS sidewinder and have been thinking of picking up a new stick.

Possible?

BTW. the pedals are regular CH pedals.

yes.

I have my USB MS FF2 stick, my USB CH PRO pedals and my gameport dual throttle plugged and working together perfectly.

However, STAY AWAY from gameport stuff. Its analog, it will spike. Guaranteed. USB stuff is usually digital, which takes a beating/miracle/effort to get it to spike.

I'm getting a usb stick, the pedals(CH) are game port and i've had them for about 5 years. no spiking at all the whole time.
