dolby digital receiver? I've got a Denon AVR2800 that I won't be using anymore in a week or so. I have a potential local buyer, but they may not be able to scrape up any cash for it.

It's a good receiver, I'm just ready to move up to something better. The only drawback is that it does not have Dolby Pro Logic II processing (just the original Pro Logic) and I do not think it has component video inputs/outputs (composite and s-video only.)

I'll prolly ebay it or something if the local deal falls through, but I wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in it.

It's in very good condition, and the remote works and is in good condition (despite the cats knocking it off the recliner repeatedly.)

If anyone is interested, I'll post pics of it once I pull it out of the "entertainment center."

Funny you mention this, I'm ofsquealing my Pioneer 5900 (I think...) receiver...has been awesome, want to upgrade

Yesterday I'm doing tech support for a guy whose name sounds really familiar to me...Mark Levinson. I ask him and he says "Yes, that's me" I check his customer info, eh gad! It is! We go on for an hour talking about receivers, music and stuff...He just split up with his wife, Kim Cattral (Sex in the City...the blonde!). Wow. Small world.

Went out of my way to help the guy with our navigation software and he told me when I was ready to buy, call him at a certain number....he'd give me an awesome deal for going above and beyond for him

Wow. Kewl Dude. He married Savik! (Cattral's character in Star Trek 6!)

You still work for UPS right?

I purchased a Denon AVR3803 from 6th Ave. It was open box, so was about $400/$500 less. Still comes with full 2 year factory warranty, so I couldn't pass it up. Should get here by Wednesday.

I worked UPS in the evening. I quit last March... 75 hours a week for 2 years got old...wanted some free time. I still work for Nautical Technologies (http://www.thecapn.com)
