love seeing 17 missions but how low your frame rates drop when you released payload/

Yes, big B17 missions are great. Our squad all took B17s, and the Flying Tigers, and others provided fighter escort, it was a great site to see. We made it to the target, and our gunners and escorts had lots of action. Zazen gunned for me and had 4 kills, mostly 163s, and I know BulletHead took out 3 163s as a gunner.

I didn't notice any famerate hits when we dropped. I hit 20 structures from 24 bombs. The bombsight view was very cool in real time as the bombs hit. It isn't quite as impressive on the film. These screen shots came from the film.

any 163 kills are sweet let alone 3 wow wtg

I remember well a mission like that, we had 4 formations of B-17 with a deep strike for enemy HQ (thought it was rooks')
Also we where attacked by 2 163's, 3 of our planes (in total) where lost and shot up all our ammo.
the 163's where still waving above us but their ammo was luckely to be very low when they started pumping their deadly load into us, all 4 pilots survived and landed some nice bombing perks (dont remember what is was) all bombs hit

awesome..i love these missions..Wish there were ways ti increase the impact on the opposition inorder to induce more of them.
