saur, oops, I thought you were trying to compare gameplay or something. my mistake!

dowding, completely understandable.

not every game is for everyone. 450,000 people subscribe to EQ and I have negative desire to play that game.
muckmaw, I'll shoot you an email later. I think me and a friend are going to play on Starsider server at release, so if you hadn't made plans for a server, you can do that one. I'll let you know what the random name generator spits out for my char's name.

(actually, looks like you have your forum email turned off. You'll have to send me one first, or post your email.

)
you can tell cavemanj is a beta tester.

He used the word "borked." I bet 95% of the testers don't even know where that came from. anyways, what you're talking about is "vertical" interdependency, cavemanj. Where upper level artisans needed parts from lower level artisans. I think what Dowding was talking about was horizontal, where advanced artisans needed would get supplies from advanced miners and advanced scouts, same thing with advanced medics/docs getting supplies from scouts and miners. Basically dependency in a class vs dependency across classes. In any case, both are pretty much removed from the system given resource gathering is just one discipline instead of a whole advanced profession. By the way, those people will probably be highly upset when trying to return the game. I don't think any game store will accept returns on a MMORPG. I could be wrong though.
heh, I've got Beta 1, Beta 2 AND Beta 3 disks.
