Just adding my two cents.......

I think one of the problems HTC must look into is the damaged fuel tank. After fuel in the tank runs out can you PLEASE make it stop leaving a trail. This seems to be a magnet for trouble as a everyone hopes to bag a damaged plane as a easy kill.

Whilst I am at it i also think that the damage for flight controls shouldnt be total loss with the entire surface just falling off. Either the control surface is shot so bad as to be ineffective (similar to total loss) or better yet just jam in a particular position. (Imagine having to trim your aircraft because the port aileron is jammed at full deflection....:) )

On the topic of jammed/damaged surfaces......as it is now a flap can be damaged so as to be jammed in a down position but visually it is gone. If it's damaged/jammed and not shot off can we keep it on the airframe please :) To go out on a limb can we keep it on the airframe and look damaged with a texture of somesort please. I don't know if we'll have enhanced damage visuals but I'd be happy if the jammed flap atleast stayed attached. I have some film somewhere of a Hog with a jammed flap that was producing lift, but the flap in question was missing, lol. Posted it to HTC in the bug forum waaaaaaaay back but was told it wasnt a bug

That explains ALOT acid.  I got hit in my P51 with 3/4th flaps down and I thought my right flap had been shot off.  Aircraft kept rolling even with lots of trim.
