Is there a way to set a button on your joystick for elevator use to help in steeper turns that coincides with the movement of your stick?:p

Yes, its called the elevator trim up/down, and if you have a stick with 2 unused buttons you can assign "up" to one and "down" to the other.  109 and P51B pilots need to know these things.  ;)

Go to the Clipboard, then Setup, then Joystick, then Flight and look for Elevator Up and Elevator Down to assign the functions to buttons on your stick.

I have elevator trim down / up mapped to hat switch up / down, so I can pull on the hat, too when pulling on the stick won't help.

I use the MS precpro twisty,,,maped "Elevator up" on one of the base buttons,,,,I use it often for lag to lead turn into gun solution and to push it over the top when needed,,,,
I also like it at 3/4 up when in horizontal scissors

Another Base button is mapped to "combat trim", instead of "trim down",I like how it nullifies the upward trim quicker and smoother.
I have trim down on KB and only use it for landing and decending in Buffs

My other two base buttons are Up view and zoom in,,,though i cant seem to get used to zoomin in while in a fight,,even if it may help my gunnery, will prob change back to squd vox button

Buttons on top of stick, other then Hat switch are used for "Lower Flap" ,"Fire secondary weapon" and "Toggle secondary weapon"
